E63 AMG

The E63 AMG is a high performance model of the W211 offered in sedan (saloon) and wagon body styles. It features an AMG designed and built 6,208 cc, DOHC, 32-valve V8. This engine has a high-pressure die-cast alloy cylinder block with twin-wire arc spray coated running surfaces. It develops 514 bhp (383 kW; 521 PS) at 6,800 rpm and 465 lb·ft (630 N·m) of torque at 5,200 rpm. Compression ratio is 11.3:1. According to many auto journalists, the E63 AMG is one of the quickest production sports sedans in the world.[7][8] Both the sedan (saloon) and wagon have a 0-60 mph (96 km/h) acceleration time of 4.4 seconds. Competitors include the BMW M5 with 507 bhp (378 kW; 514 PS), and the Audi RS6 with more than 572 bhp (427 kW; 580 PS).
